Why is TikTok paying people to join if they are probably going to be banned soon in the USA?

They want to go out with a bang, ... that's a bang for their bucks!	3	3%
They want as many users as possible, so that they will all complain about a ban, ... I'm not sure their user's attention span is long enough to protest.	24	26%
They want to gather info on as many Americans as possible before the app is banned, ... I'm not sure if gathering any more information about Americans will make much of a difference!	27	30%
They are paying people in store credit, because if their TikTok store store is making more sales, that will push the value of TikTok up, ... bah, I remember when the only one dancing on the Internet was some creepy baby.	23	25%
